I just watched the brs 5min series. Honestly I liked the 40b they threw together. The hob gear wasn't terrible looking. Good looking imo and very simplistic.

If you get a 40 from petco make sure to look it over really good and test fill it outside. I went through 4 and they all had seams bubbling up about 1/2 way on each corner at the glass on glass part. I used those tanks all the time years ago without issue but I guess the quality has gone down hill. I wound up with a 50 acrylic instead. Pretty sure a busted saltwater tank would have been my first and last saltwater tank...

I would highly recommend an AIO aquarium as well so you get an understanding of how everything runs and then what changes you would make with future build.

I decided on the innovative marine 40g Nuvo, it’s an AIO. Hopefully it goes well, I can’t wait to set it up
