Best Big Skimmer for the $$$

I'm looking for a skimmer for a system with ~350gal of volume. There is a decent bio-load and the tank will be going triton in the nearish future so the bigger the better. Cost is important, I'm not interested in how fancy it looks I just need something that will get the job done well. Is reef octopus the way to go? Thanks for your input.

I use reef octopus 5000 on my 280 (display + frag) works great for 28 fish.
