In the process of making a 1000 gallon predator pond and was wondering if anyone had any “budget friendly” filters wether being pressures filter or box/gravity filters or if I should just go the DIY route and same thing about skimmers and uv lights as far as “budget friendly”

Budget friendly would be diy and buy rolls of fleece on amazon to make a filter. You can plum in and out of a bucket and add baffles as you wish. It’s simple to do and doesn’t break the bank. I’ve seen a couple systems like this back when I did tank maintenance and they were pretty neat.

Can these systems act as my main filtration because I see some people doing this only as a extra filter on the tank

Also get the same at a fabric Store where I get mine $ 15 US would get you about 4 months supply for a 100 if you change the water every week maybe 2 for you just put in your sump baffle
