Best budget lighting for growing corals

So I'm interested in finally putting corals in my aquarium I would want to get Duncan's and coral Elegance I believe it's called and other corals that have a lot of movement to him and I was curious as to what the best budget lighting is I have a 40-gallon breeder so it's not crazy big thanks guys.

I don’t have any corals, just anemones, but I’ve had really good results with Dsuny lights. They run about 90$ for a 12”x6” 165w led panel. They are daisy chain link and come with a control box or WiFi controller (WiFi is more expensive but less cords). Lots of program in them, quickset, preset, and your own program. Lunar setting and thunderstorm. I run 3 on my 6ft 125 and supplement with a 6ft quad t5 fixture! Overall, got my 3 on amazon for 270$ hanging kit included!

Depending on size of tank, a cheap T5 will grow coral as well as a $2k unit. Otherwise black box LEDs work well. I have been using my black boxes for 3 years now and I can grow anything with these. I have a 6' tank so bought 3 of the 165w ones for around $320 toal.

If I did it over again I'd buy a 4 bulb T5 retrofit and build my own canopy. Supplement it with some ReefBrite Blue LED strips. I think I could do it for under $500.

Yea like these. I’m not a blackbox expert so I’m not saying get those. But that is the style when people say blackboxes.

So what do you think is the right wattage for a 40 gal breeder?

I have used Galxyhydro and have been very happy with it.

One 300w ~36" would be perfect, otherwise you might need two of the 165w ~16". If you can get it high enough one of the 165w might work, but it would be a stretchs tre wattage advertised is never accurate but they seem to all calculate it the same way.

I'm only seeing those lights you like in a red looking configuration for indoor growing do they make it for aquarium use?

I run a 24" Reefbreeders Photon V2 on my 40 breeder. It's the LED that Battlecorals uses which is a huge testament.
