My 120 gallon tank is running on ceramic and is a year old.
I have about 20-10 ppm No3 and 0.1-0.05 ppm PO4 now. I think it's high for nitrate. I use MBR7 2-3 times a week but see no effect. Reef Actif one spoonful a week, brings the nitrate down to 10 and it goes back up. All4Reef - I add 25 ml a day ( otherwise my kH rises a lot). The rest of the calcium comes from balling.
What would be the best carbon dosing method in this case?
Should I use TM NP-BACTER-BALANCE?

Неужели nopox при текущей разнице между No3 и PO4 лучше, чем NP-bacter-balance?

PS you might want to use microbacter clean instead

Try a larger skimmer. In my 120 no3 was 20. I changes nothing but my skimmer from a Tunze 9410dc to a Tunze 9430dc. No3 runs <5 and I feed my 15 fish heavy at 8+ cubes a day. Check my build for more info.

In my understanding microbacterial clean is a means of preventing the appearance of algae at the start. I don't have any.
I haven't heard of it being actively used in aquariums a year after startup. Although maybe that could be a solution as well. But I think it is still necessary to solve the problem of excess nitrates dosing carbon.

I use the Nyos 220. I think it is sufficient for such a tank.

Microbacter clean is a bunch of heterotrophic bacteria meant to compete with algae and break down crud and is supposed to reduce nitrate. Microbacter7 is meant to be used in brand new tanks.

If you want to reduce your nitrate I have used AZ-NO3 effectively and works fast. Though your nitrate is just fine unless you want to be a low nutrient system tank

Thats what I thought about the 9410dc rated to 300, although only 90 full sps system.
After 18+ months it was not keeping up.
The 9430dc is rated to 900 and 270 full sps.

I changed nothing but the skimmer and its holding no3 in range.

Usually with Carbon dosing you have to dose daily. Tropic Marin carbo dosing is really good. But the phosphate is 0.01 - 0.05? Or 0.05 - 0.1? Just to clarify.
