Best GFO without dropping PH and Alk too much

Been using high capacity GFO from BRS and drops by alk and PH more than I am comfortable with….. have heard rowa is little less harsh

GFO is only controlled by the surface area. A lower surface area material will have less effect on everything, but not any sort of preference for phosphate over other effects.
 
In the last year, I’ve been using Phosphate 0.04.
I can run it continuously, without bottoming out nutrients.

Alk seems unchanged to me at 160ppm and PH at 8.1….Ive not noticed any variance in parameters except of course, phosphate.

Kinda expensive but is doing the mop up well.
