Best instrument for cleaning sand and siphoning water in and out?

I give up, between Amazon and Google, there’s too many items on the market to tell what is the best. Please offer suggestions on the best instrument for cleaning the sand and siphoning water in/out of the aquarium.

I tried something similar to number one but a cheaper one and that thing worked at first then it stopped working. I got something like number 3 now with an attachment pump.

I find the cheapest simplest ones work the best, it'll vacuum and do the siphoning as that is all vacuuming is really.

How does the python pro work on sand?

I can find 100s of videos showing how to siphon water out of the tank with these types of siphons, but nothing that shows how to siphon water bank into the tank. What am I missing?

If you want to go back into the tank with one of these you'll either need to elevate the source water above the tank or by an actual powered pump.

Okay, I do have a pump, but my first time using it was lastnight and I was going to bury it in the backyard after that. Lol!!! It went horribly, but lets just say I will no longer use it to move water out of the tank.....EVER!!!

HELP! I did my first water change tonight and everything that could go wrong did :-/

Dude! As I watched that water pool up on the towel I started to panic. YES, a valuable lesson indeed!!!

I use just the tube part of the siphon, manually starting the siphon. It’s much better than those huge cylinder ones. (Those are generally used for gravel, not sand)
