Hey guys! I have a plan set up for dwarf seahorses, but i was just curious to hear from our experts here on R2R, what the best lighting would be for these little guys. I hope to have them breed, so i understand it will have to be on at least 12 hours a day. I have a light, but its absolutely nothing special and im just curious if i should upgrade it. Thanks!!

@SeahorseKeeper may have recommendations. But I don't know that seahorses require any special lighting other than enough to see.

I’ve never raised dwarves, but I don’t think you need anything special from what I have researched. I would just replicate a day/night cycle.
Okay sounds good! Kind of what i figured, but wanted to make sure. Thank you [emoji4]

Well I've never had bright lights over a dwarf tank so I can't state emphatically, but I suspect so based on my standard seahorse tanks, where the seahorses tend to spend more time in the lower lit portions of the tanks than they do in the brightest areas.
