Best Lighting for Red Sea S-1000 SPS exclusive tank

Hello everyone!

First post here despite lurking the forums for months. I'm planning to purchase a Red Sea S-1000 for an SPS exclusive tank. Dimensions of the tank are 82.7"L x 26.75"W x 25.6"H (210 gallons).

I've watched many youtube videos, read tons of reviews and scrolled thorough endless forum discussions and the more I read the more uncertainty I have about what to choose in 2023.

Assuming my goal is excellent SPS growth long term and I'm not worried about price/energy usage, what is the HIGHEST PERFORMING option to achieve this outcome?

XR30s diffused (or not) will give you awesome coverage.

I think you might be able to get away with 3 G6 30's - Why? Because it depends on what you're going to put into the tank - this positioning allows you to have some lower light loving corals throughout the tank. I would not use XR 15's at all. You could also use 4 G6 XR 30's I would start with 3. I used 2 on a 5 foot tank - with no problems.

One thing I see here commonly - I s people have 5 of light type xxxxx set at 40%. Why not buy lights set at 80% - I had 2 XR30's on a 5 foot tank - with no issues the coral the liked the light - grew towards the light.
