One of my struggles with this hobby is that my closest fish store is 4 hours in the car round trip. It seems like online ordering has come a LONG way in the last 5 years so I wanted to explore the option since I really don’t have a full day to give up to go to the fish store every often.

With that being said, where do you order your fish from? I quarantine myself, so my main criteria would be hearty fish to begin with that have the greatest chance to make it through and are eating well before arrival. I am located in GA, so I am assuming I should try to find vendors closer to me on the east coast for logistics purposes?

Any vendors you are willing to put your word behind?

Thanks!

I would vote for tank raised fish from Biota. Those are more sustainable, and do not have issues with cyanide collection that still plagues fish from other regions.

No matter where you buy, always opt for the fastest shipping time they offer, even if it costs more. Also, I never ship fish the week around Thanksgiving of from 12/18 through 1/2 - due to shipping conjestion.

Looking for more but some that I have used or would use.
1) ocean devotion
2) marine collectors (haven’t used but would)
3) tsm aquatics
4) bay bridge aquariums (ordered a fish so we’ll see how it turns out.)
5) Fishotel (haven’t just because they don’t carry the fish I want and hard to get them to do expensive fish)
6) WWC (haven’t yet but plan to just cause I have points)
7) dr reefs (used once)
8) reefprostore (about to place an order so can update you to the quality once I get it)
