best place to get SPS frags on Long island

Don’t go by the website, just head down there they are open Fri-Sun. It’s a small building in the rear of the shopping center.

Stores I cannot recommend:
- Pro Reef Aquatics (aiptasia, bubble algae, dead coral in all tanks including displays)
- Advanced Marine Aquatics (aiptasia, algae covered frags, boring SPS frags)

Stores I recommend:
- Tropical Island Aquarium (last time I was there a few weeks ago there wasnt a ton of SPS frags)
- Caribbean Blue Aquarium (Expensive and imo boring mini colonies, but the they take care of them)
- Country Critters (As of lately the store has been very clean, was not always the case, nice selection of corals in general, SPS selection wasnt amazing)

If you are looking for nicer SPS frags your best bet is to order online IMO. I've never really found anything at your typical store that is super nice or interesting. I've been meaning to stop by TJM/Island Fish.

I was just at Advanced Aquatics last week. Aiptasia all over the place, dying frags, lots of algae, etc. Maybe they are going through a bit of a problem but I wouldnt recommend it right now.
