Want to try out an experimental form here to see if it catches on here. If it works I’ll create similar for fish and equipment etc, however this particular thread will be limited to supplies only. As every one knows the world of reefkeeping isn’t the most friendly on the wallets. However that does not mean one can’t be money conscious lol
Thought it would be neat to try and create a sort or rolling active pricing sheet that attempts to highlight the best prices on the market today for the products we all use and love. This will rely heavily on the communities to keep organized. Below is how I envisioning it to work.
I will create the first reply message where I will start some generic categories and base format ie
Carbon
Coral Food
GFO
….
Under any category list the product, manufacture, size , price and link to where to buy. **Try to Insert product alphabetically by hierarchy and insert the product 4 spaces to keep the catagories distinguish able ** ie
Carbon
Rox 0.8, BRS, 1 gallon, 59.99, https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/bulk-premium-rox-0-8-aquarium-carbon.html
Next product
Coral Food
Marine microalgea, photo feast, 16oz , 33.00, https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/phyt...=13565&indexName=brs_prod_m2_default_products

If you wish to add a product or category not listed feel free. However only over write the price of an existing product if you know of a cheaper place, to buy.
Anytime you want to add or change something please copy the last pricing post in full and amend. Do not post single line items with individual products. In theory if this works correctly the last form post should alway be the most up to date pricing post.
What to avoid.
1) only list normal prices. Do not over write an existing amount with a short term sale price.
2) try to keep discussion within the thread limited to an updated pricing post or question if your unsure where to put a product.
3) Only post online products and price that whole community have access to and not LFS stuff even if they may be cheaper.
4) for the sake of this thread don’t factor in shipping cost.
