Best Return Pump for Basement Sump? Reef Octo Diablo DC?

I am looking to move my Sump to my basement. There will be 13' of head pressure and the display tank is 90 gallons. Currently my return is a Ehiem 1262 pushing about 700-800gph

The only downside is my sump will be tempered glass so it can not be drilled which rules out external pumps.

So far I have found the below Reef Octopus pump to be best fit for the job. Thoughts? At 13' it should be pumped over 1,800 gph at full blast. I will most certainly dial it back and/or redirect flow to my frag tank and Refugium.

I've looked into this, but I am worried that when the power goes out, that the pump will lose prime and burn up.
