Hi everyone,

I'm about to get a new tank and I was looking for some advice on what type of sand I should get. I currently have a white ultra-fine sand in my display, but it never looks white. It's always dirty looking even with my queen conch and many ceriths running around. I also have the caribsea sand in a 3 gallon pico that clouds the entire tank when anything is disturbed. If it weren't for that issue I'd like the look.

Is there a specific grain size that seems to work well for the majority? Thanks!

Carib-Sea special grade reef sand seems to be the best for Reefs. Doesnt cause a sand storm when you have a lot of flow.
