Best Tunze control

I have a RS 170 that I’m setting up. Would the best way to control a Tunze 6055 powerhead be with a VDM module or use a Tunze controller?

If you already have the Apex I would recommend the VDM.

I use a VDM for mine, works great, no complaints. Was able to use the EB832 recently to diagnose an issue where I didn't have the control cable plugged all the way in on one of them, and it was just running at full blast. Found it because the power draw wasn't changing.
