Best way to frag a encrusting coral?

I'd like to be able to add some frags of this guy to some of my other tanks and trade him for similar corals. Whats an easy way of fragging off a piece or attaching a couple frags plugs to allow the coral to naturally grow on to? I don't want to kill or disrupt the coral.
