Hi

What’s a good glue to join the aquascape and make it look like there no joints.. Will be using white rocks this time and want to do a better job than last time.
Needs to be available in uk.

Are you using putty for the main hold and glue and crushed rocks to hide it?

Cheers

For smaller scapes just super glue and sand (specifically 1 or more coats of super glue, let it fully dry, then super glue with sand on top). For larger (heavier) scapes super glue for initial hold, then epoxy, then super glue with sand on top.

Coral glue suffice?

I used gel CA glue for mine:

I used the activator you mist onto the CA to get it to set. I made sure each joint had 3 contact points, glued all 3, spread the glue out with bamboo dowels, then sprayed it. Once I knew it was staying in place, I let the glue fully cure before adding another piece to that spot. Little pieces were also glued in to support overhangs.

Crazy I thought I was the only one using bamboo dowels to pack glue into those tiny spaces!!! I like to buy a big pack of bamboo skewers from the grocery store!

You use the tools we have. In my case, I got a package of “applicator swabs” from a guy in production at a previous job. Think industrial cotton swabs. Come in very handy when my fat fingers can’t reach.
