I'm a complete novice to plumbing. I plumbed my 120g with a 3/4 syphon, 1" trickle in one overflow, a 1" e drain and 3/4" return in the other overflow. Is it perfect, probably not but it's a simple set up.

I purchase a 3" Lifegard Pro Max 55w UV sterilizer I planned to run on the return. Return pump is running 3/4" tubing to a barb fitting below the return 3/4" line. Disregarding UV placement for now - How do i convert from 3" down to something 3/4" I can attach to both the return pump and the 3/4" return pvc piping?

Thanks!
