Bfaxi’s Red Sea Reefer 350

Hi everyone,

I really started this tank back in December but I figure I might as well put one of these together since I have the pictures.

I originally planned on getting a Mr Aqua 12 gallon long.. but the longer I planned, the bigger the tank got until I landed on a Red Sea Reefer 350 (white). It’s pretty much the largest I have space for.

Simplicity return pump
Simplicity 120DC Skimmer
EcoTech VorTech MP40WQD Quiet Drive
EcoTech ReefLink

Lighting:
2 EcoTech Radion XR30w

Future Equipement Plans:
Neptune Apex
Pretty much anything to help automate things when I’m out of town on work trips.

Current Livestock:
1 Yellow Tang
1 Kole Yellow Eye Tang
2 Clownfish
2 Scissortail Gobies
1 Six Line Wrasse

Coral Plans:
I initially was planning on SPS dominant but I’ve strayed from that a bit with bubble coral, hammer coral and a few other LPS.

This was my weekend project. Was such a waste of space with all these cords so did a little organizing.

What and where did you get the board to mount the controllers? Is it plywood that you finished in white or particle board that already has the white finish on it?

Anyone have some ATO ideas for me to replace the carboy setup? Was thinking maybe more of a cube to maximize the space?
