I sold my old tank with the BH2000 on it to someone I know and now I have the option to buy the skimmer back for pennies on the dollar.. ($20) Is it way too big for my 20g long or would it be okay to slap it on there?

Can you hang it off the back of a tank stand or something? I just looked up the dimensions of a 20g long vs the bh-2000 and it might actually be a couple of inches higher than the tank is?

I think even on light load that is rated for 75 gal, but I'm a fan of over skimming, at $20 I don't see any harm in it.

So I got the skimmer home and was cleaning it up when I decided to plug it in quick to make sure the pump was sill in working order. It didn't turn on... Luckily I managed to get it working again with a little cleaning and tinkering.

A few pics of the skimmer on the tank as well as a few corals I have. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why my hammer coral and frogspawn don't open up as much as they used to? The tank went a while without any water changes but I have been doing large water changes and keeping up on it for a week and a half now so I'm wondering if maybe the lights aren't bright enough?
