Just looking for some help with the flow for what's going to be a predominately softie tank.
It's fairly early days with a few different mushrooms and zoa and a little gsp.

I recently added a devils hand, it's been closed up for the better part of a fortnight. I noticed it was shedding, decided to add a small powerhead (sicce voyager 1000). Prior to that it was just a tidal HOB providing flow.

The worry now is despite being quite small it's blowing the mushrooms around a little.
Its not programmable so it's blasting in the one direction constantly. Ive positioned it high, pointed it at the rock work to try and breakup up the flow.

Thoughts on this setup?
Should i keep it maybe try and find something tiny that's programmable?
Alternatively should i just try an find a powerpoint time that could do say 10 seconds on a minute off?

Here's the tank (approx 20g), powerhead is back left corner.
Thx!

The 1000 might be a little strong, I would suggest the 535 gph would work better. My 15 gallon softie tank has 1 sicce voager 535 gph and 1 small hyyger congrollable powerhead. I previously had 2 x 535 gph but one broke down so I get the hyyger.

Believe it or not, its a lot easier to fix the flow with 2 powerheads instead if just one. With just one, the flow goes across the tank hits the glass and follows the glass, it creates a one way linear flow. Having 2 directly across from each, the flows will bounce off each other creating random flow patterns, which is ideal IMO.
