I recently added a Bicolor Blenny to my 46 gallon. I have a pair of Oscellaris CLown and 1 Mandarin. The one larger clown is very territorial and irys to scare the Blenny back into his hole. I am afraid he could eventually die from the clown. This clown did make after 6 months a fairy wrasse hide and eventually die. What do you guys think? Can a BiColor Blenny hold his own with a Clown more than a Fairy Wrasse

I would give it time, I have had clowns and a Bicolor in the same tank without issue. Originally the female chased him but after a couple weeks was fine as she realized it was no longer a threat to the BTA/host. I would give it awhile, see how they do. How long as it been anyway? If it persists for longer than 4 weeks I would consider removing the Blenny.

Prior to adding in any other fish then maybe try pulling out the clowns, move their host (if possible) hold them in a QT area for awhile, week or so. Then put back in. Might help with a change of scenary in lowering the aggression. Just a thought.

Blenny and Clown

My Clowns host is a Coral Elegance. I called ORA and they said I would see physical damage on the Blenny if the Clown is bothering him. They said if I remove him I would have to get a smaller one than the male I have and then the male I have would turn female but that female could get bigger and harrass the blenny

I have a bi-color and a percula and they did the same thing at first and about a couple weeks later they are best friends.
