I don't know. It was this way when I bought it. It was my very first coral and have had it several years. It doesn't branch out, just gets bigger around.

We have a similar one, lfs, sold it as a Bi-color hammer frogspawn...was only 2 heads but now it has about 10 heads and is about 7" in diameter. Growing like crazy.
