Hi Team, Just noticed that my bicolour angelfish is excreting long white string faeces over the previous few days. Is this an automatic sign of an internal infection ?

I can't observe any other symptoms. Still extremely active and eating.

Would it be wise to soak his food with some Metro ?

Thanks for any help

How long have you had the fish?
What are you feeding it?

Only use metro in food if you have a binder like Focus. Then, it must be accurate dosed at 1 to 2% by food weight.

Please post pics using white and no blue lighting and if fish is eating and not getting thin, may be due to what is being fed especially if you are feeding mysis and brine shrimp exclusively as they tend to leave excess mucus in the stomach lining mimicing internal issues
