Big hi fin banded goby

I just went to my today for some water and ended up seeing the biggest hi fin red banded goby I’ve ever seen and had to bring it home
It will be going into qt soon and I thought id share this beauty

(Measured to be nearly 4 inches head to tail)

I stop by the LFS every weekend on the way home from my kids’ swim lessons. Can’t ever make it out without something. At this point when we walk through the door my wife says “What did y’all find at the store today?” Awesome goby!

So decided to give a little updated on the giant goby now named rocket due to the fact that it jumped out 3 times just during acclimation. It’s been pretty reclusive and is probably still settling but is eating healthy and makes occasional appearances, I’ve done some digging and it seems to be the only 4 incher reported which is sort of hard for me to believe but it is cool if it turns out to be true!
