So, I ordered a colony of green Rhodactis mushrooms. The rock the colony is on is pretty big and won’t fit in my any of my smaller tanks. And I can’t put it in my bigger one because it isn’t wet yet. How do I break it up into smaller pieces? Is that even possible?

Just break the rock with a screwdriver and hammer. Be careful not to harm the foot of the coral other than that, you should be safe.
