Bigger QT tank with divider

Hello I want to switch to a bigger QT tank like a 20 or 30 gallon and put a divider to be able to QT multiple fish at once what do you guys think

Good idea as long as the divider doesn't restrict water movement for oxygen on both sides.

Are you going to be adding the fish at the same time? You don't really want to add a new fish to the QT tank if you've already had one in there. It would just prolong your QT for the first fish.

Mesh and a few zipties works wonders.

A divider is a good idea in limited space.

I wanted to upgrade my QT to able to QT multiple fish added at the same time I guess I should of been more clear sorry but I think I'll just run the QT I already have running for now thank everyone for the advise and opinions

I use 29 gal. for my qt, just for the reason you mentioned, I can put more fish at once, especially good for qt school of anthias. I don't bother with dividers, unless very aggressive fish would go in there, like 2 tangs for example.

Well I Bought a 55 gallon to turn into a sump/ refug and took apart my 35 gallon Sump so I was thinking about cleaning it up real good from the silicone and setting up as a QT and just put a divider in it when needed.
