Hello all , I have a bat fish that just eats everything in my tank when I feed. Not giving the other inhabitants a chance to eat. I have the batfish , a lionfish , an snowflake eel (small) ,an niger trigger , yellow tang , and an Singapore angel.
Which brings up another issue , I feed frozen clams and krill. Which is raising my ammonia levels up , do to the feeding process of me having to put more food in for the others to get.
What can I do to prevent the bat from eating all the food.

I have some Small clowns who hang out in one side of the tank, so I drop the food in the other end to distract the greedy lot and then i add the food for the clowns.

I have 4 lionfish in my reef, and the fuzzy is the pig of the tank. I use a rigid airtube line to block him and gently push him back so everyone else can eat.

That's helpful , I will turn pumps off and use along spreader to do the same , hope it works. The eel takes forever to get his food.

Long tweezers... especially for the krill. That way you can "Hand" it to your eel, lion and trigger...

then "tank feed" in several spots the bat, angel and tang.
