Well i got my order i am disappointed but it is a lesson learned so no macro algae update for billy bob :( Here is an honest rereview

⭐⭐⭐️☆☆
Mixed Feelings on the Mystery Macro Pack

I ordered the 15-specimen Mystery Macro Mix (5-pack) from The Macro Lady after reading the website description, which promises vibrant, beginner-friendly macros, regular-sized specimens, and great variety. I was excited for a surprise mix and overall value.

The Good:
Shipping was excellent. Tracking and communication were clear and timely. Everything arrived well-packaged, insulated, and with a heat pack. All specimens arrived clean, healthy, and with good coloration—no pests or obvious die-off, which I really appreciate.

The Not-So-Good:
All 15 specimens arrived together in a single bag rather than separated, which made acclimation and handling more difficult. While the algae appear healthy, the size was not what I expected based on the website description.

Out of the 15 specimens:

2 were what I would consider standard size

1 was slightly smaller

The remaining specimens were very small, roughly dime- to nickel-sized

Because of their size, these macros are better suited for nano or pico tanks. They are not large enough to immediately place into a larger display tank and thrive as-is.

Final Thoughts:
The quality and health of the macros are good, and shipping was fantastic. However, I strongly recommend updating the website description to clarify that these are small starter frags intended for nano or pico systems, rather than implying regular-sized specimens suitable for larger displays.

With clearer expectations, this pack could be a great option—especially for small tanks or hobbyists who enjoy growing macros out from very small pieces.

Man, I am terrible at keeping this thread updated—I get way too distracted reading through the reef groups!I have a huge update. The 55-gallon is gone and has been upgraded to a 75-gallon tank. We actually ended up combining the 45-gallon and my 55-gallon into this single 75-gallon system. Here is how the tank is currently looking and stocked
We kept all of my original corals. We also just added a Yellow Fiji, a Pipe Organ, and some random Zoas.Recent Additions: Picked up a Kryptonite Leather Finger and a Green Kenya tree, both from TSA
None of the corals currently growing out in our stocked nano tanks are moving over. They are staying exactly where they are.
We successfully merged all of the livestock into the new tank. The total roster now includes:My original fish lineup
Lawnmower Blenny, Talbot's Damsel, Blue Damsel, Blue/Green Chromis. The only one not add was a solo clownfish who is temporarily in the 4-gallon macroalgae tank. That tank is doing great now, which is a massive relief given the disappointing shipment I posted about last time! All in all, we are absolutely loving this new 75-gallon setup. Here are the latest pictures of the progress. I'll check back in with another update in a couple of months to let you know how everything is settling in!
