At the beginning of the year I added one female lyertail anthia, one female resplendent and was sent one bimac male (supposed to be a female resplendent) to my 125 gallon tank. We had no issues until the bimac passed away. He was huge so I am assuming I was sent an old fish. A few weeks later I added another lyertail and a female bimac as I had really enjoyed the previous bimac. Since adding the new fish the original lyertail has become aggressive to the new bimac. I am not sure if she is trying to start transitioning male or what but I still have the mirror up and keep the lights out unless it is feeding time. I can not catch this lyertail to save my life. I am going to add two more bimacs to the tank in hopes that they can find safety in numbers. Would it be better to add 2 more females or 1 female and 1 male (bringing the total to 2 females and 1 male)?
