I'm currently in the process of breaking down my 150g sps tank. Life has become very busy for me so I'm looking for something a little easier. I don't want to get out of the hobby completely. So I stumbled across the coralife bio cube 29g or so. I'm planning on keeping my euphylia (torches, hammers, frogspawn) and some mushrooms and maybe Zoas, but no sps.
Are the lights in the bio cube sufficient enough for this. Or what are the options for upgrading? Filtration? I have zero experience with these tanks.
Any help, pros/cons, of the tank would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I currently have on a 29g Coralife BioCube as my display tank and have done considerable things to upgrade in order to better life for my corals. The first thing is Compact Fluro's are not strong enough and need replacement bulbs approx every 6 months which will get costly. I had a Current Orbit light, Current TruLumen strips and a reef breeders basic fixture and I finally settled on a Acan LED Prism 600 and it is working like a charm. I upgraded the return pump to pump more water volume.

The downfalls of this tank is having limited room for what fits in the chamber. I do not waste my time with the replacement filter pads or using pretty much any of the Coralife Parts such as the protein skimmer. They are basic at best and require much needed maintenance. The intank Media Basket is a worthwhile investment to keep everything in one handy place and to force water through it. That being said feel free to message me with any further questions. Good Luck and happy reefing

I also stumbled across the jbj nano 24g with led lighting. It has 13 1.3 watt cree LEDs. I know you don't have this tank, but would that be enough lighting for euphylia?

Ok thanks! I'm a t5 guy so I wasn't sure about the LEDs. The jbj is a little more expensive, but then it looks like I wouldn't have to upgrade anything, the leds would last longer also, and heat wouldn't be as much of an issue.

I like the red sea 34 gal the best i would check craigslist. They are shipped to cail so you might get a better dill, I'm on the east coast. Anyway i had a bio cube many
obstacles to over come on the bio cube.If you do choose a bio cube get the newer model with the led strips and the back i think is a little better. But if you go with the red sea use the eshopps
sponges, cheaper & it stops skimmer bubbles, yes on T5. It is tall enough to stack up coral.
