Bio-diversity within a tank

so I started a tank with dry rock and was wondering about adding some diversity into my tank should I order from a place like this

Inverts? I can tell you adding some "live" rock from the ocean can help a great deal with biodiversity, including strains of beneficial bacteria that can't be had in a bottle. It does come with potential issue in hitchhikers though.

Back when I started out, that's all you could get was ocean harvested live rock. Didn't see issues with Dinoflagellates, cyanobacteria.....etc we see today.
