Biocube 29 Lighting!

I saw a diy video on youtube building an inexpensive LED system. Are there any threads regarding how to accomplish this?

This individual has a bc14 vs. mine is a biocube 29

would I use same amount of lights or more... is this something I should try and tackle or just pay the $220 at rapid led.
