I know this thread is for jbj bit this question applies to how much water I should change each week on a 29 gallon biocube. How much do you guys change in your 28

I think that a 20-25% water change will be sufficient. But it will also depend on your stocking list of fish, what and how much you feed, and how clean you need the water for certain types of corals.

I would do a 4-5 gallon water change each week. Prolly 5 each week or close to it, a bucket full to simplify it. Helps keep things in check and With such a small tank and how easy/quick it is, what's the point of doing a smaller one of say 2-3.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
