Very nice! Thanks for sharing!!

Well I finally had to move my tank into a new apartment. I was dreading this but me and a friend with tanks had it all planned out very well..so we got a spare tank set up to move all the fish n corals to for a day or two while we moved stuff around so we could get the DT where we wanted it. Well the 20 gallons of salt water I put in the DT was not salt at all!!!! After I had all the rock n corals arranged in the DT a couple hrs later all my corals are melting away. I tested everything n the salt was down to .10 I think. So I rushed to the lfs told them there was no salt water in the stuff I got a day ago. Had them test it before I left n came home n did a big water change n slowly brought it back to where it should be. So 5 days later after a huge ammonia spike everything is leveled back off. My 3 fish lived and only little bits of my frogspawn torch n zoas made it everything else is gone.

the lesson I learned is always test the water I get from the lfs!! Even tho I've been getting it from there for a long time and it's always been fine

WOW! Sorry to hear about your troubles!! :(

Ouuuch! Don't give up on those corals yet, though. Sometimes they 'miraculously' come back.
