One last question! LOL In your picture, it looks like the two lights are in series and connected with only one power cord. Is that correct? I went online to 21LED and was going to buy them but was unsure if I needed to order one or two power cords. I sent 21LED an e-mail to ask them but they didn't reply back.
Keep asking away! Yes just one power cord.

Love the addition of two 12" 21LED Actinic reef bars. Although growth with te stock lights was great, the last seven months has been even better. And it just looks better with more "Blue". I've slowly ramped up to 90% since adding in April.

Would you mind sharing the light settings for your Biocube 32? I've been searching R2R for threads about the lights settings and can't find anything of substance.
Everyone has different setting that work for them. I came across these setting on here somewhere and have been using with good results.
1 - 11:00-19:00
2 - 10:30-19:00
3 - 07:00-22:00
I had tried adjusting for more sunset and starting getting algae so just out it right back to these settings. I absolute hate that the slightest glitch in power requires re-programming of the lights. They need to fix that. I have mine on a UPS.

Jeez, it was over 2years ago and I’m old. I know I run it 12 hours with 5hours of full whites. I’m at work I can’t look at it at the moment. I hope this helps a little.

You should not have to reset settings if the power goes out. How old is the hood? I just bought a new tank and had the same problem. On the main board is a rechargeable battery that can be replaced with a little soldering. Very easy to do.

Hope it's still useful to you. I have mine as follows, stock lights
(1) 11am to 3pm (white lights or rather it's all spectrum on) anything more will grow more algae since I feed heavy
(2) 9am to 4.30pm (beauty lights - ie less white spectrum)
(3) 7am to 10pm (blue only)

By the way I like those 21 leds, does it come with a controller that has a timer and also allows slowly ramping up and down the blue lights. And can one control the 21 led spectrum?

Also any thoughts on the following lights, they come on sale often. I am thinking of getting some blue actinic lights to supplement the biocube lights since the all white just makes the corals look too dull.
