Biocube 32 setup

idk if it will fit but i am loving the bubble magus miniq. set it for super dry skim as it is really for oxygenating the tank and i have a filter roller but is still pulling very dark skimmate. wonder how it compares to the coralife but i also dont really trust coralife products other than the biocube itself

Ya, difficult to tune in at first. Chunky but not dark skimmate. But great for oxygenation. This is my cube.

Got ya, that is a wicked setup you have there... mind going over what's been done mod wise? All this on stock lighting?

I just added USa 21 actinic blues LEDs to the hood . Not for more par, everything was growing great but more color pop from my corals. Probably easier to get info if click on the dark blue My Tank Thread,

I have a 32 biocube for my clownfish pair and bangaii breeding pair. I have 20 pounds of live rock and snails and crabs for cleaning. I haven't heard anything positive about an in tank skimmer and don't have one. I don't have a lot of corals because I over feed to get the fish breeding, but from my past experience with 55 tanks I question if the lights are good enough for a lot of corals.

I started my Biocube recently as well and read through your thread! If you already have an RBA doing well in the tank I’d think you’d be ready to add some coral in there!
I’ve purchased my tank used with some extra add ons, one of them was a protein skimmer. I haven’t added it because I don’t have much going on there yet…. But I may set it up now as some have mentioned added oxygenation… we’ll see.
In my first chamber I have my heater. second a three tier filter tray (top floss with a Biocube carbon filter (may not repeat that whenever I need to change it, idk), second rubble rock from my live rocks I smashed up to fit back there, bottom fluval biomax media). Third chamber is my pump and a temperature probe.

Loved my old cube. If you check out the thread you can see all the mods. They are a great aio tank.

How can I find your thread? I just bought a Biocube 32g and need to see what mods are really needed.

I have a 32 gallon Biocube with softies and LPS. I have 2 MP10's on the lowest settings for reef crest. I'm skimerless and have both inTank media racks. I use filter floss, no other filtration other than having a refugium that runs for 8 hrs a day. Keep it simple man.
I’m setting up my Biocube 32 this weekend. I bought the fuge from intank and the media rack. What do you recommend I run in the fuge?

For the refugium, I have clean Chaeto I got from Algaebarn lit with a Tunze eco chic 8831 light that I have hooked to a basic timer. The light is inside of the fuge box facing towards the display wall. It has a magnet on the back of it that is sandwiched against the very back panel of glass. Works really well. I harvest at least a softball size per month.
