Over a decade, had a 100 gal outside Houston Tx. After a pair of hurricanes and a layoff, shut it down and sold it all off. 12+ years later, in a new state and now working remote..decided to add a little entertainment to my office.

As such, started with a stock Biocube 32 led, carib base rock & carib(live) sand. (Dec 8)

...26 days later, minor changes to rockwork.

Set chamber 2 as fuge, rubble & chaeto

Added 1lb actual live sand/rubble, to display
Some macro (g. Hayi & hypnea pannosa), 1 'red' Disco, 1 small gsp frag.
Blue legs, cerith & nassarius starting out the Cuc.

2x clowns, 1x skunk cleaner

Pods, C. Prolifera & Red G. Blodgetti hopefully arriving this week...

...and obviously we're having some 'uglies' fun'.

Do you plan on keeping macro in the DT?

Yes, and I'll be adding more... added the aforementioned C. Prolifera & 2 pieces of Red G. Blodgetti. a couple days ago, also found some dark brown pieces mixed in with the Proilfera that I added into a corner.

Codium, G. Corticata & G tikvahiae are otw, and depending how the prolifera does or if it becomes problematic, I may try some shoal grass... id also like to get a macro with more orange/yellow... ie: Agar Agar, or 'dragons tongue'

After ^, I'll add a bta... from there mushrooms and/or Zoa's and a nepthea or sinularia.

Octoaquatics made me a great magnetic "cage" for some chaeto a few years ago. It was a pod heaven.

I'm using the central back chamber as a fuge with rubble, chaeto and grape caulerpa.

...also got a fluval spec with sand and a rock, that I'm using to 'store' extra macro pieces. Ex: Only needed a 3rd of the Prolifera that came with my order. Amusingly, there is a 3" of grape C in there that's a couple days old and it's grown 3-4, 1/4" shoots. That one's def not going into the display.

A quandry I've had, is what to do with the top of the taller formation on the right... it's about 3-4 inches from water surface. I've got some a Chaeto and Hypnea there now, but don't like the...brillo pad look it they kind of give.

Originally I had thought of GSP, but...don't really want it creeping down the side of the column. I've since kicked around the idea of maidens hair/turtle weed macro... or trying some kind of sps.

What about a bubble tip up there?

I understand. It's a perfect cradle to maybe keep it there.
One way to find out... actually ordered one back on Dec 23rd, however vendor failed to ship before the 'arctic storm'. Been holding off on corals until I can get it in and see where it settles....and see if it moves when upgrade the light and go to mesh lid.

That is not usually my first suggestion, but it's perfect

Pic update... No dinos/gha etc to date. Found some bubble algae, hopefully the EC will locate and remove it.

Have an issue with zoas, Duncan and Kenya not...expanding/opening. Lowered lights, and increased feed. After 2-3 days test with phosphates @ 0 with Salifert test, registered .03 today.

For those corals they won’t be happy at those levels. Shoot for nitrates 10-15 and phosphates .05-.1
