Biocube 32

Hi all! Hope you're enjoying hope you're enjoying this warm weather! My fish are not! Supposedly, my bio keeps 32 has built in fans but I do not hear anything going and the water temperature is too hot! Does anybody have insight into the cooling fans that are supposedly in these biocubes? If so, how do I fix it? Thank you in advance!

As far as I know the biocube fans cool the lights, not the tank. You can open the feeding door and place a fan so that it blows onto the water. This will cool the tank down but evaporation will take off so you'll have to make up for that with some RODI or possibly distilled water.

Are the light's cooling fans not working? I was just thinking you wanted to cool the tank water. Also, I have an older biocube 29 that had water temps rise when the lights came on. I ended up going with a screen top and a light mounted higher above it so it wouldn't heat the water as much. You may want to consider that too.

For the water cooling fan I was thinking it could be placed on the feeding door, somehow.

I'm not sure about fixing that then. You can try replacing them but I wonder if it is something else since both fans are not working. (my 29 had two, so assuming the same for the 32)

I have a BioCube and have since removed the lid to do some upgrading but ran it with the stock lid for several years. I always had to run supplemental cooling fans in the summer. There is another thread lurking here somewhere with a 3d printed bracket for these fans.
