Thank you both for your kind words.
I’m pondering doing a quick swap in mine to rid myself of the GHA that started for TBS premium when I get some for the big tank. The sand is nice and white but the rocks strayed with GHA about 2 months ago. Been plucking it with fingers when I can pinch it

I think that would be a good move. What type of cuc do you have?

in the 32 I have a turbo, 3 money's, 3 fighting conchs, 2 Astrae, 3 Trochus, e Emerald, 10 mini bristles, a couple scarlet and blue leg, a biscuit, blood fire, jaw fish that all keep the sand clean. eventually they'll cross over. I did drop the little decorator in the sump. I did try a tooth brush a little bit but seemed harder than just plucking. Only grew long enough to pluck twice so far. I think the phyto just fuels it. but the big cuc needs food too.

The best cuc I have for eating algae, especially hair, is my tuxedo urchin follow by the turbo snails. I would suggest increasing your turbos to 5 and get a tuxedo urchin. You still have to pluck to keep it short but they will go to town. If I could only have one cuc in my tank it would be the tuxedo. If I ever got hair algae again I would consider another but would probably have to rehome one when it was all gone.

I have been eyeing a Fuzzy Chiton on Reef Cleaners. think that would eat much GHA?
They are supposed to be great algae eaters but I don’t know about gha. I would shoot Reef Cleaners a message and see what they say.

sorry, I forgot. yes, "Oliver" the Tuxedo is in there too. He's been in there almost since the start. Probably a month after. That guy is indestructible. So many times I did a water change and didn't realize he was at the top of the glass until I siphoned the water out. He does have a pincushion friend too. yeah, it's big for this size but they are all there.

Hi Kev,
Wasn’t sure where to post this. I wish R2R had a way for us to talk about random things with Katrina and gang.

I noticed that while I was mostly out for the week other than keeping up on contests, my notifications didn’t show any chat on your thread, Katrina’s, OOC, fishy and others that I actually follow their threads.
Does anyone know if the R2R algorithm only shows threads your active on vs following?

I’d like to keep up with everyone but it seems the more threads I follow, the narrower the notifications..

Your corals always look like the model version; the one vendors show in their DT’s.

What a lofty goal, but inspired to make it happen.

I wish I had an answer for you but it is the same for me. I just periodically check in. Annoying I know, maybe someone else has an answer.

Have we looked inside our tanks!! We’ve created Earth habitats for water-based Aliens and don’t even know it! Haha
This is a case for the X-files!
