Biocube pump and middle chamber same level.

My bio cube pump and middle chamber are the same height level. This wasn’t always the case so I’m a bit concerned. Isn’t the middle chamber supposed to pour water into the pump chamber with the pump chamber always being lower?

My bio cube pump and middle chamber are the same height level. This wasn’t always the case so I’m a bit concerned. Isn’t the middle chamber supposed to pour water into the pump chamber with the pump chamber always being lower?

Either something is partially clogged - could be buildup or algae on the surface overflow teeth, or the return pump is dirty and flow is less than normal, or a filter pad / floss is dirty and reducing flow, or simply there is just a little more water in the tank than normal

TLDR - flow is reduced for some reason, or too much water in the tank
