BIOMEDIA: Which Works Best?

Since I am using a rollermat for my primary large particle filtration, I am planning on filling up my filter sock compartment with bio media bricks. However, there are multiple brands out there and I am wondering on what the community has to say on which brand to go with?

MarinePure Brightwell Siporax

Is there another brand I'm missing? What do you all think?

Also, I am aware that Brightwell has a bad batch that apparently crumbles away.

I use mainly siporax but have some marine pure balls in my sump too. Siporax is good and effective. If you can use it effectively then it can reduce nutrient very efficiently.
