Thinking about getting a male and female bird wrasse, but don't want any issues. I know they are large fish, the male is already 5"+.
6' tank full of aggressive eaters. I know it will eat snails, I have hundreds of them, just how fast will it decimate them? Same with conchs? Any corals that I should worry about?
How easily can these fish cause rock slides? The rocks in this tank are all pretty large and secured in the sand pretty well.
Also, if I got the fish I would keep them in 40 gallon tanks (bare bottom) for the first month or two, will these larger wrasse be okay with a container of sand to burrow in during this time?
Would rather address these questions before deciding to add it or not!
Thanks!

Had a large male back in the 1980s. He was fed 3 inch goldfish. That fish would grab a fish and smash it on the coral so that it would be tenderized then eat it.
