Okay, new addition to the system today. I came across a Japanese Serpent Goby. What a cool looking fish. Already eating well.
As the day is coming to the end and lights are going down in the tank, he’s pacing the side panel of glass. No other fish have bothered him throughout the day. The male Anthias was a little boisterous but was more concerned with the Solar Wrasse.
I’m hoping it’s just first night jitters and it will relax.
Since his addition I’ve split the night feeding into multiples to help with any possible aggression with the other fish. All have eaten well. Frozen Mysis and arctic pods.
There is really not much info out there on these fish. Not sure if anyone has had any experience. Suggests please..
Tank is 187g 48x30x30 SPS dominant, 1 year old, Haitian rock..

my banded goby did this for two days when i first added it and then calmed down, should be nothing to worry about but if it persists after a few days definitely let me know

Did a little peak on the tank a few minutes ago, not pacing , so went to rest somewhere in the rocks. Only ones out are the Longspines and Zebra tang, which is the usual.
Thank you for commenting, will update over the next few days.

Same here and the pictures online that I found don’t do it justice. I’ll try tomorrow to get a clear shot. The fins are much different from what the googlewebs are showing. Maybe was miss labeled at the shop….🤷‍♂️
