I have a small birdsnest colony that has been growing great.I found 4 or 5 bubbles of algae growin inside of it so i took and small exacto and sliced off the bubbles without breaking them.I rinsed the coral in saltwater and put it back in the rack. I then realized the damage i caused.where i sliced of the bubble algae is now white, and now it seems the growth has stopped. I am curious if it will heal after or if i should just split it into smaller colonies and start over
thanks in advance
