I ordered a Birdsnest Ponape from dr quarantine fish last night. In my research before ordering it, it seems that they are relatively easy to grow oncee stablished. How quickly does it take them to get established?

I tested my water yesterday, my dkh is 8.3 calc 480, mg 1440. Phosphate is 0 or undetectable, nitrates are 8.3. I have 4 hammers, 2 blastos, toadstool, alien hand Sinularia, a torch, montipora, and a sun coral.

How does a bird's nest coral compare with everything I have?

You'll definitely want more PO4. How well they acclimate depends on multiple variables but if you can match lighting and water parameters with the system they came out of that will increase your chances of success.

It's coming from Dr. Quarantine Fish. I've been having trouble with my phosphates. They either sky rocket, not terribly dangerous or crash. I cannot find the middle ground.

I got an Ora one recently. TSA Shipped it, bag was opened when it arrived. Actually ordered two and one arrived perfect. The open bag one was fine. I put it high up and I bet a Trochus snail made a path to it and I only found a small little frag piece remaining below on a lower rock, the rest probably went through a crevice. I have to check today if it’s holding up. I really blast mine with flow. I’ll take two shots in white light to show mine off, only had them 13 days. The one that broke is behind that emerald green acro and behind the clam. I got such a stream of water movement up there. Seems ok. Haven’t checked parameters in months, I sold my trident, it sucked.

I got mine today, along with a lot of other coral. I just put it in next to my montipora, on the same rock, not right next to each other. It's a really small twig. I got it before I started work, since I work from home I was working, acclimating coral in everything. Everything looks nice. I got a blue RFA that I'm looking forward to relaxing in his home with two sexy shrimp and a green banded goby.

The Birdsnest Ponape is a weed in my tank. Just sits on the sand bottom grows. Multiple accidental broken off pieces have grown into colonies. One of the easiest corals to keep IME.

Been all over to see major league games, but I’ve never gone to Missouri.
Very well pampered and taken care of horses to represent! There pretty cool. I would enjoying seeing the AB ones. I like when Budweiser uses them in there adds, like the steins too

I've never been to another park other than Busch Stadium, but it can't be beat. Missouri itself is beautiful, especially around the Ozarks. I've never been to Kansas City. St. Louis is a fun town, the zoo is free and world class. The aquarium at Union Station is pretty cool as well and my favorite, next to Busch Stadium of course is the Missouri Botanical Gardens. I'll warn you the summers are hot and muggy, they'll kick you in the ribs as you walk outside.

I also have a horse shoe from Grant's Farm. It's bigger than my size 15. The horses are more spoiled than some dogs.

I remember going to Springfield Illinois when I was 5 or so. Yea hot and muggy. I was captivated at evening hours after dusk when fireflies came out. Road Empire Builder home to the West Coast and brought a jar of some back. Never seen a firefly west of the Rockies. I wish WA. had em.

It’s got to be the humidity difference and the balance of the ecosystem on the Eastern Side. Central WA, hot, dry summer, cold very dry winters. Someone genetically modify a firefly to survive over here/ jk. Mother Nature does things perfectly.
