Birthday Blue star wrasse DOA

So to day is my birthday. Finally getting around to getting the reef back up after a crash a year ago.

I placed an order a week ago for this gal. Super excited for days until i found out i had Fedex to deal with. Set up a small QT tank and everything last night for her.

Fedex. messing Fedex

Priority shipping. Expected delivery from 9:45 am-11:45am

Then Expected before 1:30pm , to then Expected by EOD

4pm comes around. Fish gets delivered finally. Cold as ice.

Nice healthy female, plump, beautiful colors. I Tried to cancel early on once I found out shipper was Fedex.

I'm beyond ticked. Venting is all I guess I am doing . Was really hoping to et this lil girl settled in and enjoy her.

Long day at work. This happened right before my shift to set the mood for the day

Sorry, that was a beautiful wrasse! From what I gathered, it was only delayed by 6 hours? The fish should've survived just fine, I'm guessing the vendor didn't include enough heat packs.

If I had ever shipped a coral I would but never have done it. Happy belated bday, hope they at least have a doa guarantee or something along that line.

Yea just one so it could be that as well. 6 hours could've made a difference though you know.
