Abs is mainly used in cheap drain line applications. It's my guess that it would not be suitable.Looking to use 1/4" black abs in a 20l for a sump. Any thoughts on this
Was going to use it for baffles. I see kits for glass tanks what are they made of? I use to build reptile enclosures out of abs and have everything I need to make stuff out of it.
I have the glass just need to cut it. I have seen a few businesses on here selling the kits for a 10 or 20 gallon tanks that you silicon in. Didn't know what they used. My last sump I used glass and the black rtv stuff works great.
For some reason I thought he was talking about pipe. I did not even know they made it in sheets. Is it really better than acrylic or equal to it? Sounds like more of a hassle. On the other hand if you have access to it cheap or free, it may be the way to go.
Live and learn.. so they are molding it?
