Was taking a video of a black tang I have temporarily housed in my frag tank and I realized that all the fish are black and white …. never really thought about it and t'was unintended. Pretty cool regardless. Black longnose tang, pair of banggai cardinals, convict tang and a pair of clowns adorned in ..... yep, you guessed it …. black and white.

Do you like old movies too? They seem fine with it.

JK. I realized that right now I dominate in yellows on my fish. I have yellow tangs, azure damsels, lemon damsels, talbots, and a yellow candy hogfish with my female swallowtail angelfish. Lots of yellow.

.... and a complete wimp, which is why it’s in the frag tank. Had it up for sale for a long time at $700 and nobody wanted it. Then fish prices went crazy and everybody wanted to buy it for $700 LOL.

I'd love him because he's a wimp! I'm a sucker for the scaredy cats.

I do think occasionally about moving him up, but my tang gang are really tough on new fish. They’ve even gotten wise to the acclimation box. They swim around smiling and giving off good vibes .... until I let the newcomer out ..... then BAM ....

Black is too twitchy for pictures but I’ll take another video .... I like movies better anyhow ....

Crazy expensive at the moment …. DD had a couple for $1,800 (or thereabouts). Tank is now black and white with a splotch of orange :D

I'll give you my matted filefish....but it will also eat your Duncan's, Zoas (thinks they are skittles), and now possibly my Hammer :( It isn't so much a "reef safe with caution" tag but rather "hobbyist acceptable collateral damage" acceptance.

Question - is that Zebra Tang small? Could be how video was taken but the clowns looked large as did the other fish.

Thanks. I'm torn between one or an Atlantic Blue. The issue am struggling with on the blue is that they are usually sold in the transition state and/or potential size. Not sure I can support a almost 9" fish in my 210. I learned that lesson with my previous Lt. Tang :(

Also not sure if my Scopas would even let me introduce another tang...the poo head.
