I'm here for a friend - she is really keen on adding a Black-Backed wrasse as the last fish for her Red Sea 250... Does anyone have any experience with this fish? Would you recommend it? Tell me everything!!!!

Unfortunately, China Wrasses don't have the greatest track record in the hobby.
God they are stunning. I wish you had posted this earlier cause she gave up on these guys . She went with a pintail wrasse!!I don't know about not having great track record. I do agree that they are a little harder wrasse to keep than most, but they can absolutely thrive in our tank.
My Male China Wrasse tonight as the light go out as he court his lady.
